Horse Lovers who Lunch! Join us to connect with fellow horse lovers and learn from local experts at this, our first of many monthly lunch and learns. Mark your calendar for the 3rd Tuesday of every Month.

This month we welcome Shell Brodnax, an Equine Myofascial Functional Therapist and the founder of Tryon Equine Bodywork. She works hands-on with horses of all ages and disciplines, collaborating closely with owners, trainers, and veterinarians to support comfort, movement, and long-term soundness.

In this presentation, Evidence-Based Equine Bodywork: Three Equine Case Studies in Functional Pain Reduction, Shell walks attendees through three real horses, showing how pain patterns present, how they change over time, and what owners and trainers can realistically expect when bodywork is part of a horse’s care team. This lunch and learn is designed to help owners better understand their horse’s body, recognize meaningful changes, and work more effectively with a qualified bodyworker.

The goal of our lunch and learn series is to connect this amazing WNC equestrian community, support local practitioners in getting the word out about their great services and support a great cause. $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to support PEER - Polk Equine Emergency Rescue. We all share a passion for happy, healthy horses and we're lining up a fabulous group of experts to share their knowledge to help us achieve our equestrian goals...whatever those may be! The topics and format will vary to include speakers and hands on activities

And as with every lunch and learn, food is a highlight! We have an excellent caterer lined up to bring us a fresh and fabulous meal each month that will not disappoint!
